Terms of use
Last updated October 31, 2026
These terms cover the Wallet Method app, this website, and what you buy from us. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
The Wallet Method is run by Steven Crews, 325-918 16th Avenue NW, Calgary, Alberta T2M 0K3, Canada. Contact: [email protected].
A planning tool, not advice
The Wallet Method helps you plan your spending. It isn't financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and we aren't your bank or adviser. The decisions you make with it are yours. For advice about your situation, talk to a qualified professional.
Check the numbers
When you upload a statement or pay stub, AI reads it. It is usually right, but it can make mistakes. Check the amounts before you rely on them. Payoff dates and interest figures are estimates based on the numbers you give the app; your lender's numbers are the real ones.
Your data and backups
Your plan is saved only on your device. Keeping it safe is up to you: save a backup from Settings now and then. We can't restore a plan we never had. See our privacy policy.
Free and paid features
Everything you type in yourself is free. Statement uploads and debt tracking from card statements will be paid features. They're free for our first 10 users; after that, US$9 a month or US$68 a year (Canadian prices are shown at checkout). Before you're ever charged, you'll see the price and agree to it. You can cancel any time, and paid features keep working until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling never locks you out of what you've already entered.
Digital products
Books, printables and bundles are delivered as downloads for your own personal and household use. Please don't resell or share the files. If a download doesn't work or isn't what we described, email [email protected] and we'll fix it or refund you.
Fair use
Please don't misuse the upload feature, try to break the service, or upload files that aren't yours to share. We limit how many files can be sent per minute to keep it working for everyone.
Limits
We work hard to keep the app working and accurate, but it's provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using it, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
