Type it in yourself
Free, for good
- Your weekly adult allowance and the "I'm spending" button
- Goals, and jars for costs that come once a year
- Pay that changes every paycheck
- Debts typed in by hand: what to pay first, a payoff date for each, and the interest you save
- Couples: each of you gets your own wallet
Upload instead of typing
US$68 a year, or US$9 a month
In Canada: CA$95 a year or CA$11 a month. Sales tax is added where it applies. Free for our first 10 users.
- Upload bank and card statements: the app sorts every line for you
- Scan a pay stub instead of typing it in
- Go through your bills one by one to find money to cut
- Upload each month's card statement: your debts update, and we flag it if a balance goes up
Yearly saves you US$40 compared with paying monthly (US$108 a year).
How it compares
US$68 a year. YNAB is US$109 a year and Monarch is US$99.99 a year (their own pricing pages, checked October 28, 2026). Both are good apps. The Wallet Method costs less, never asks for your bank login, and is free when you type it in yourself.
