A budgeting app for people who hated budgeting

Budgeting is hard. An allowance is easy.

One weekly adult allowance for the spending you choose. No bank login, no 30 categories.

The app's wallet screen, with Wallet, Debts, History and Settings tabs: $187.25 left in your adult allowance this week, $47.75 of $235 spent, and a Trip to Mexico goal at $1,200 of $3,000. Try it free See how it works first

Free for our first 10 users, who give brutally honest feedback. After that, statement uploads and debt tracking from your card statements are US$9 a month or US$68 a year (Canadian prices at checkout). Typing it in yourself stays free.

  1. Upload your statements. The app sorts every line and sums up what you spend, where, and on what.
  2. Get your weekly adult allowance. Bills and savings are set aside first. The allowance is for groceries, entertainment, shopping and eating out.
  3. Set your goals and track your progress. A trip, a down payment, the next car. Change your allowance any time.
  4. Pay off debt faster. Smallest balance first, a payoff date for every debt, and how much interest your plan saves you. Upload a card statement each month and we'll flag it if the balance goes up.

It's finally fun to decide what you spend your money on, instead of spending without even realizing it.

Hate budgeting? Here's why this is different.

Paid different every month? Your wallet isn't.

Commission, tips, a side gig. Every paycheck goes into a pot first. Your bills and savings come out of the pot, and you pay yourself the same amount every week.

Big months fill the pot. Slow months draw from it. Your weekly wallet stays the same either way, so a bad month doesn't wreck your plan.

How it works when your pay goes up and down

"I spent years as a bank manager and mortgage broker, going through people's statements with them. I never liked budgeting either. When I ran a cash flow plan for my own money, I ran it with cash."

Questions

Do I need to give it my bank login?

No. It never asks for one. You upload a statement, or type your numbers in.

Where is my information kept?

On your phone, in your browser. There's no account, and we can't see your plan. Save a backup in Settings now and then. Privacy policy

What happens to statements I upload?

They're sent to our server, read by AI (Google's Gemini), and the results come back to your phone. We don't keep the file or what's in it.

What if I stop paying?

You keep everything you've already entered. Uploads stop at the end of the period you paid for, and typing it in yourself stays free.

My pay changes every paycheck. Will it work?

Yes. Your pay goes into a pot, and you pay yourself the same steady amount. Big months fill the pot, slow months draw from it, and your weekly adult allowance stays the same.

Can my partner and I both use it?

Yes. Each of you gets your own wallet.

New phone?

Save a backup in Settings and load it on the new one.

Is this financial advice?
